1. Detailed Subscription Terms
ScrollOut Pro subscriptions are offered through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms:
Continued Access: After cancellation, you retain access to Pro features until the end of the current billing period. No prorated refund is given for remaining days.
2. App Blocker Terms of Use
ScrollOut's app blocker works through Apple's Family Controls framework (Screen Time). Its use is subject to the following conditions:
- ScrollOut requires iOS Screen Time authorization to function. Without this permission, app blocking is not possible
- Blocking applies only to applications selected by the user
- Blocking effectiveness depends on the iOS version and your device configuration
SOS Mode — IRREVERSIBLE: Once SOS Mode is activated, it cannot be cancelled before the chosen timer expires. ScrollOut cannot, and will not be able to, unlock an ongoing SOS session. This restriction is intentional and is the core feature of SOS Mode.
ScrollOut is not responsible for applications that may not be blocked due to:
- An iOS update changing the behavior of the Screen Time API
- Third-party apps using system bypass methods
- Incorrect Screen Time permission configuration
- Restrictions imposed by your company or school (MDM)
3. Streak Program Terms
ScrollOut offers a streak system to encourage consistency. This system is subject to the following rules:
- A streak represents the number of consecutive days the focus goal was achieved
- The streak is automatically reset to zero if the daily goal is not met before midnight (local time)
- It is not possible to recover a lost streak, regardless of the reason (bug, oversight, technical issue)
- ScrollOut cannot guarantee streak continuity in case of data loss or app reinstallation
Tip: Regularly sync your account to protect your streak data. In case of a proven bug causing streak loss, contact us at support@scrollout.app — we review cases individually.
4. Support Policy
Our support team commits to responding to all requests within the following timeframes:
- Initial response: within 48 business hours (Paris time, Monday to Friday)
- Critical bugs (app unusable): priority handling within 24 business hours
- Feature requests: reviewed during our quarterly development cycles
Support is available exclusively by email. We do not offer phone or live chat support at this time.
5. Terms Updates
ScrollOut reserves the right to modify these sub-conditions at any time. For major changes:
- You will be notified at least 30 days before the changes take effect
- Notification will be sent by email and/or via an in-app notification
- Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new terms
- If you refuse the new terms, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect
The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when these terms were last modified.
