At ScrollOut, we respect your privacy. Our mission is to help you focus — not to collect or monetize your data. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.

2. Data We Collect

We only collect data strictly necessary for the Service to function:

4. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

  • Provide and improve application features
  • Display your statistics and session history
  • Send you app notifications (if enabled)
  • Provide customer support
  • Detect and fix technical bugs

We never use your data for marketing, commercial profiling, or advertising targeting.

5. Third-Party Services

ScrollOut uses the following third-party services, all GDPR compliant:

  • Supabase — secure account data storage (EU hosting, encrypted in transit and at rest, SOC 2 certified)
  • RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management (does not receive your browsing or focus session data)
  • Apple Sign In / Google Sign In — optional authentication (we only receive your email, never your password)

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:

  • All your personal data is deleted within 30 days
  • Anonymized and aggregated data may be retained for statistical purposes
  • Billing data is retained in accordance with legal obligations (10 years)

To request immediate deletion of your data, send an email to scrolloutapp@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion".

7. Your GDPR Rights

As a European user, you have the following rights:

8. Protection of Minors

ScrollOut is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately at scrolloutapp@gmail.com.

For users aged 13 to 17, we recommend use with parental or guardian consent.
